Event Calendar

Newsletters are published in March, June, September and December. If trial convenors would like to have their entry form included in this please send it to the secretary, Naomi White (preferably by email) by the 2nd last week of the preceding month. If it is emailed in Word form a link can be added to the calendar.

Results must be sent to the secretary by email within seven days of the trial. Results must include placegetters to fourth place in Encourage, Maiden, Novice, Improver events and to sixth place in Open events.

Could trial convenors please include the names of judges on entry forms or inform the secretary by email as soon as these are known.

All competitors must be full financial members or a junior member for those under 18 years of age. We will be posting a list of financial members in the Membership and Trial Convenors section of the website. Convenors are invited to send the draw to the treasurer for verification of membership status. Convenors are requested to reject entries from Victorian residents who do not or cannot quote a membership number.

Participants in Encourage, Maiden, Novice, Improver and Open classes must be members of VYUFDA. If a convenor wishes to run an affiliated “Local” class, they may accept entries from local residents who are not members provided a minimum $5 entry fee is charged and the names and addresses of the “locals” are recorded.

The Association will allow genuine local people to compete in the Local class only without having to pay a subscription on one occasion during the season. It is important to note this is an experiment and is only for locals who participate in one trial each year.

The affiliation fee is $30 for the 2020 season.
